his train was introduced to connect Bhopalites with national capital NEWDELHI in the year 2000, then few dedicated officers of Bhopal Div. of WCR worked hard to make this train India’s first ISO certified train, then to become first JK Bajaj certified train. DRM, Sr.DCM, Sr.DME posted at that time at Bhopal and their entire team of employees of all the departments took great pains to maintain the prestigious certification. Credit goes to all of them .
PUBLIC OF Bhopal felt great pride and preferred this train to travel to Delhi and back. Politicians ,burocrates general public along with some great man like Hnb. KALAM SAHEB have traveled in this train. Previous governor of MP HNB. Bhai Mahaveer used to travel to Delhi by this train. So many other VVIPS have traveled by SHANE BHOPAL EXPRESS. All the coaches were reconditioned at Bhopal coach factory then at Habibganj C&W yard fitted some modern items which were never before fitted any other train many officers from other railways visited Bhopal to inspect these fittings and the train . There is one full AC first class coach and two AC 2t. coaches and three Ac 3t coaches along with twelve three 3t sleeper coaches , all the coaches are thoroughly cleaned at Habibganj and proper C&W inspection is done to check any mechanical fault. There are clean bed rolls and modern luxurious blankets in Ac first coach, beside this you can get tea coffee and snacks and dinner in the train ,there is no pantry car being an over night train. There is GPS system to tell you the speed of the train and time of travel between stations . No of the train is 2155/2156
Train departs from Habibganj at 21/05 hours and stops at Bhopal main station and Vidisha ,Ganjbasoda , Bina, Jhansi Gwaliar, Morena Agra and terminates at Nizamuddin station. There are RPF and GRP jawans in the train for protection and to maintain law and order but on several occasions it has become target of thieves and rowdy daily up-downers . Railway department also is not far behind in getting the train late , it has been given lot of running time between Habibganj and Nizamuddin. Some times passenger them selves are not far behind in miss using the facilities provided people steak hand towel bed sheets blankets,etc. when ever there is any political really at Bhopal people damage the train .
Staff working in the train is polite and disciplined and helpful , you can book your ticket in advance from Habibganj and Bhopal or from

authorized travel agent or from internet from your home . When you enter the compartment you feel plea gent fragrance dispensed by
atomizers time to time ,you feel quit at home and find lot of difference with other trains , the toilets are clean and in western style of toilets there is abundant supply of toilets paper which you can never find out in any other train in India, soap dispenser in ACfirst are of high quality but in Ac 2t they are of reasonable quality. As the train leaves main station a clean bed roll is supplied , coaches are almost sound proof you can go to sleep as soon your tickets are checked. When you wake up in the morning your tae and coffee is available by the time you finish your toilet and change your destination is coming and you find yourself in India’s capital. WHEN YOU GET DOWN YOU FEEL ASENSE OF PROUD WITHIN YOURSELF. Isn’t it a beautiful journey?
